Asperö

This is my first picture in a couple of days: I've been in The Netherlands in the last weekend.
My 201st picture is again one for my Göteborg-Travelogue: my second picture from Göteborgs Södra Skärgården (Archipelago).

The southern archipelago includes eight inhabited island, Brännö, Asperö, Köpstadsö, Vargö, Styrsö, Donsö, Vrångö and Vinga. The islands have about 5,000 permanent residents. From Saltholmen, the public transport in Göteborg, Västtrafik has six ferries sailing to the several islands. It really is a very nice trip and the islands self are also worth visiting.
The island you can see here is Asperö. This island has 437 inhabitants.

As you can see, still a bright day with sun and blue skies! :-)

kleuren zijn helder en prachtig hier, en een mooi passende crop tot pano, een beetje aanscherpen had nog wat gekund mischien ?
Een mooi zonnig beeld van dit eiland met die heuvel in de background en de haven met die ferries.

Hey Lars. Yes you had a fine day for this one. When I think of Sweden this is an image that comes to mind. The cropping is really good. Good one Lars.

Bonjour Lars,
J'aime bien cette composition où les bateaux se balancent mollement au gré des vagues, les mâts qui valsent en fonction du vent.
Une vue très agréable, ensoleillée, le tout sur un fond de ciel bleu.

The shape of the mountain make this composition very beautiful due to its graceful curve and the elongated format works perfectly. The colours and tones are well controlled and the beautiful day all adds up to make a lovely scene. Great shot!! Regards.

Eindelijk vind ik u terug, u heeft een mooi weekend gehad in Nederland, tenminste wat het weer betreft! Schitterende verdeling gemaakt aan de ene kant de boten en de loopsteigers, aan de andere kant bijna het zelfde, maar dan op een grotere afstand, dit maakt uw beeld zo interesant, dit allemaal geflankeerd door een fantastische achtergrond.

Now I really come to regret that we never made it to Sweden last summer. Well, next year. It certainly is a peaceful view of a very typical Swedish landscape - and seascape.

Lars, a nicely composed shot of this pretty harbour. The boats give an interesting foreground while the red roofs of the houses add some colour behind. Informative note too.

Hi Lars - fantastic nordic scenery, I like the pano format without too much empty sky. Looking at the place names, I think the locals have a severe umlaut fetish, especially ö.

Hej Lars,
Another beautiful one of this travelogue. Boats must be the most important transportation in here. As on the other one, there is a peaceful atmosphere in here that makes all the urban stress go away. The almost panoramic format is very pleasant and I love this scenery, with the round shape hill in the back. Excelent POV and composition, with a perfect balance bettween the stripes of the sea, the sky and the land.
