High tranquility Photo

Photographer’s Note

Early in the morning, me and my friends went hiking from peaceful Copacabana northward toward the Isla del Sol. We saw this fishing boat, waiting tranquily for the start of yet another day at lake Titicaca. can still feel through it the peacefulness of that moment, of the place, of nature...Looking at the picture now, returns me to those moments...

Hi Chen;

It's the composition of this photo which really makes it work.
The boat is perfectly placed in the frame. The water provides a nice reflection of the colors of the boat, the grasses break up the water nicely, diferentiating between semmingly the shallows and the deep water.
In general, a nicely done photo...

hi chen, wow what a cool image i must say, a great image, great colours, great composition, but what i like very much are the remote tiny shapes of mountains, hardly visible;
this is a definition of "tranquility" for me;

Always keen on a sober setting when it is so strong like here with the contrasting colors of the boat reflected and nicely placed in this sea of blue nicely broken with the reed and fine this misty horizont mountains. Excellent Chen.
