Photographer’s Note
A photo from aboard our ferry, waiting for the ferry to depart for Singapore. This Malaysian Cruiseship was just returning from the weekend out at sea.

Hi Dan,
A nice one, the cruiseship with elegance silhouette against the splendid sky, with a wonderful clouds structure. Nice composition and soft of colours.
Best regards,
John.

Hey Dan,
Now that you are rendering shots of ferries, you have redeemed my reputation for my B.C. ferry shot that resembled a tourist promotion. This ferry seems ultra deluxe - please investigate and see if you can import one of these for our fleet, which is currently crumbling. I love the sleek lines here and your heavenly sky, richly textured. Very pleasing work, Dan. Have a good weekend.
John

Hey Dan,
Great sky tones with this one and a colourful sky. Your framing here is superb with exaggerated proportions of the sky that gives off a great sense of the open sea and fresh air. You should contact the company the offer them your shot for their publicity campaign!

Wow, spectacular colour! The sky is very beautiful, with all those multicoloured clouds. I like the way you framed this too, with only a sliver of water visible at the bottom, and a huge sky. Great shot!

A little kitsch but I like it... Looks like a postcard.
You captured the light very well, in a good dof.

Hi Dan, beautiful scenery and composition with the focus on the sky and keeping the sea and the boat low in the composition. The sky is very nice and the colours are great. Well seen and done!

I am sure the owners would love to have this in their brochure because it is a crisp clean shot with lots of vibrant colours to counterbalance the white of the boats hull.It is however strange that vehicles travelling left right in photographs always seem to look better than those travelling the other way.

Morning Dan
That's a brilliant placing of the cruiser. No doubt with such cool sky with it's light color, the cruiser stand out. And with good sharpness and clarity, it's a good picture.
Well done, Dan.

Hai Dan, the color and sharpness of this photo is just great. Love the dramatic clouds and the placement of the cruise ship.

Hi Dan,
I certainly do, although it looks a bit too light for my taste of more saturated pictures. Otherwise everything works perfectly - Izzet Keribar
