Photographer’s Note
Last February, I went to visit my wife in Tuebingen. She was doing a part of her PHD there and I found out she was very lucky staying in a place of such beauty. The city center is very nice with all the old medieval buldings well preserved and painted with strong happy colours.
Tuebingen was extremely lucky, during ww2 with only one bomb being droped there, so the original buildings still stand. This is one of the nicer views of the old city center, taken from one of the many bridges that cross the Neekar river.
Unfortunately, while being there, the weather was not very good, snowing time to time and the light to take this photo was not the best. With sun and blue sky, I believe it would be nicer.
On the left corner behind the tree, the yellow house is the Holderlin tower. The genius mad poet Holderlin was a native of Tuebingen and lived all his life there, never coming out. At least he had a nice view!

A nice winter shot of these colourful houses, Ricardo. I like the river in the foreground and the buildings receding back into the picture following the curve of the riverbank.

Bonjour Ricardo,

Amicalement/jr

lovely winter shot, Ricardo
I think the few patches of snow add to the image. The dark water of the river makes the color of the old houses stand out more. Good POV accentuating the genlte curve of the river.

Hola Ricardo
Parece difuminado o sobreexpuesto. De todos modos me gusta.
saludos

Hej Ricardo,
Lovely view from this place. I love the colourful facades of the houses and the church in top is nice as well. Some fine small reflections too. Well captured!

Hi Ricardo, Good POV and the colours bring this alive. Excellent note makes it all the more interesting. The reflected colours in the stream also are good to see.

Hello Ricardo!
Your photo is really nice! I think this "bad or rainy weather" enhances more the colourful houses. It's a typical German weather...i know it because I was born there but i haven't been to Tubingen yet.
Have a nice day Ricardo!

jorge
