Photographer’s Note
Kotelnicheskaya Naberezhnaya is one of Stalin's 7 sisters or similarly shaped skyscrapers built in 1950s. This particular one was built in 1952 and is a residential building. It's height is 176m (577ft) and it has 32 floors. It is located not far away from Kremlin on the confluence of Yauza and Moskva rivers. The architect is D. Chechulin and it was made in Neo-Classical and Neo-Gothic styles. It was intended as an elite housing building. Very soon, however, units were converted to multi-family kommunalka.

Hi Bogdan,
I like your composition, lot of space for sky over the building and that the buildings aren't deformed.

Welcome to trekearth,
you start well with this nicely framed building, you have put it at the best place of the frame leaving a good amount of sky,
the colours are great.
Well done

Hi Bogdan,
What an impressive view you have captured here. Great light on the huge skyscraper. I like how you have included the water in the front. Thanks for a very informative note.
