Photographer’s Note
Colourful Monday market around Djenné great Mosque.
Djennè is the oldest known city in sub-Saharan Africa and is situated on the floodlands of the Niger and Bani rivers, 354 kilometers (220 miles) southwest of Timbuktu. Djenné is now an agricultural trade center, of diminished importance, with several beautiful examples of Muslim architecture like its Great Mosque.

I will here on some Monday in February of 08. Can't wait. The photo looks terrible Luca...Hahahahahaha
The mosque isn't straight and the whole thing has horrible pixelation around everything - like you had to upsize and than sharpened way too much. Other than the tilted horizon, good composition and the color is good too. It's actually good to see that even the best mess up sometimes, although I think you already knew this before you osted it.
So, thanks for adding to my anticipation of the trip.
Nice shot.
Actually, a good daily life shot.
John
