Photographer’s Note
Sunday and nice weather, let's go to the beach, I have selected for you the world famous Copacabana beach !
Why do you begin to look puzzled, I would never dare to cheat you dear friends, this is really Copacabana beach, just... there is more than one Copacabana in South America and we are not in Rio de Janeiro here but in Copacabana, Bolivia and 3800 m above sea level on the shores of lake Titikaka !!!
Unfortunately no samba here to go along with the relaxed beach feeling, but I could organize some tinkus, sounds nice too although far less tropical. Did you notice the BIG advantage of my Copacabana beach ??? It's a lot less crowded than the other one !
Enjoy the sunday beach live and see you tomorrow in Castelsardo (I know some of you are waiting for the continuation of the visit).

Hi JY,
though it shares a name thats all it shares:) I think I prefer the bikini gorls on the Rio beach over the fishermen on this one. No offense:) Nice POV, good sense of humor too.

Salut Jean Yves,
ils doivent avoir eur froid.

Salut Jean Yves

Hi Jean Yves,
A unusual place as port for the yachts, the curve on the beach and the mountains against give a well composing and with great light and colours.
Have a nice day,
John.

Salut JY,

Amicalement, Brigitte

In this shot I like the sense of depth from the line of boats along the lake. The inclusion of the people of course adds life to the scene as well, showing maybe some intended contrast with the other, more famous Copacabana. Well done!

Hi Jean Yves,
Never mind the other beach for now, this will do just fine. I like the relaxed, laid back atmosphere. The people on shore enhance and the boats balance the frame nicely. Clean, crisp and superb contrast. Very well captured.

Hi Jean Yves,
Still natural small lakeside town. This is what I like very very much. Still primitive and tranquil. Your choice is quite right.
Good colors and sharpness with PoV as always.
Thanks for sharing...

Well, this looks slightly different than the images my brain was wired to until now when hearing the term "Copacabana" ;) Nice details in this high-altitude lakeside view, and a remarkable quality you managed to pull from the scan. Nice one, Jean-Yves.

Hello Jean Yves,

Hi Jean-Yves. I'd swear you used a polarizer here. It's the composition that I like. The image quality for an oldie is impressive enough. Nice one Jean-Yves!

Salut Jean-Yves
Tout d'abord je me suis dit : Mon Dieu, qu'est-il arrivé à la
célèbre plage de Copacabana! Et bien ta note très intéressante
m'a vite rassuré. Très belle prise.
A bientôt

Hello, Jean-Yves!
I like the climate of South America very much! Very nice, charming place. Picture is well composed, showing a piece of ordinary, everyday life. Nice color of sky and water contrasting with the ground. Only the greenery looks poor, like it is burned by the sun... is it really?
regards,
Greg
