Photographer’s Note
This is a real garden!
It started out as a joke. The lady had a plastic model in her window. A work mate sujested she dressed it. So she did. It was such a local window to watch she carried it on. When they moved, to the next village. She planted her garden. Every now and then she adds another 'plant' to her garden. Her latest addition was the bath tub.
I drive past her house every day to go to work. I smile each day.

It's nice to bring joy to neighbours...
Nice, low angle for the shot and perfect direction of light. I also think this shows well NZ suburban architecture.

Hello Sue,
in my country they would arrest you with such a garden but Kiwis, Aussies and other people have enough humor to laugh about themselves.
This makes life a lot better. TFS.

Hi Sue, This is a funny scene. I'd like to guess that the owner of this house is a bachelor or a really funny old person :D. I am sure there should have no kids in the house. I am not sure if the city should rate the garden with an "X" or "R" to preventing children to play in the garden by accident.
A very nice shot with nice use of lights. Good PoV and nice DoF. Interesting topic.

Bonjour Sue,

Must be a strange view before working !!
I wish I could see that for real ! It's so purple and unnatural in a garden !
Thanks for the sharing.
