Rainbow after the Rain. Photo

Photographer’s Note

Along the edge of the resort along the beach there are these tents that are used for massaging during the day. In the evening all you see it the tent tops along this walkway.which. You can barely see the rainbow in the sky but it is there. Behind in the distance is the town of Puerto Vallarta at the other end of the bay. On this evening the clouds rose so I could also catch a glimpse of the mountains around the bay. Enjoy.

Beautiful light and rainbow - the pot of gold seems to be in the valley with the nice clouds. Also some nice clouds crawling on the top of the mountains.

Hey Paul. I did like Magnus's comment about the pot of gold. I had no idea they had such mountains along the coast like this. The composition does follow the rule of thirds. I've never captured a rainbow, now I'm jealous! Nice work Paul.

Beautiful colors! I like much rainbows. They always appear
from nowhere for a while and return to I don't no where ;-)

Hi Paul, The clouds on the other side of the bay look very interesting and special. The foreground area looks like a very nice commercialized place with green covered stonewall and the canopy settings. A nice captured rainbow. Well done.

Hi Paul - this is a wonderful shot of a beautiful evening. I like the view of the mountains with the clouds hanging around them, and the dark sky behind. This is very evocative of the tropics. The really special thing is the rainbow, which brings the whole photo to life. Good job! Thanks also for your really thoughtful and sincere comments on my photos - I really appreciate them.

I looked down on a rainbow from the top of Gros Piton in St Lucia; a special moment but only my Canon point & shoot to capture it with.

I been ask this question many time on this site and haven't get any answer yet.
how do you capture rainbow image. do you just aim you camera to shot, or there a technique.
I saw and shot Rainbow couple times but my picture came out without the rainbow.
any advice for me Paul?

I like this low level light on the rocks,it really warms the place.
A good rainbow,but the best are the clouds between the mountains and those that are just going over the top of the mountain on the right.
