Photographer’s Note

St. Pauls Cathedral is the fourth to occupy this site (one is siad to have existed from 604AD). It was designed by the court architect Sir Christopher Wren and built between 1675 and 1710 after its predecessor was destroyed in the Great Fire of London. It has played host to the funerals of Lord Nelson, the Duke of Wellington and Sir Winston Churchill; Jubilee celebrations for Queen Victoria, King George V and the wedding of Diana and Charles.

At the time of photographing this there was a lot of renovation work being undertaken. I tried to capture the Cathedral without any of the eyesores. Hope this works.
