Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken in January 2005, when I visited Koh Chang island. I took some lonely road towars the middle of the island and finally ended up in someone's home. They did not speak much English, but they were extremely friendly. So I ended up spending few hours there - practicing Muay Thai with their son, helping father with rubber production, etc. :)
On this photo you can see their little daughter.
But what is more interesting - there's a rat being grilled in a bonfire. That was quite an exotic sight for me.

Very catchy shot of Thai daily life. I like your note to go with it as well. A very interesting photo with a good composition and colours. I also like that bit of smoke on the left.

Rat is something like chicken or rabbit.
It is similar as bat. I think it must be very good with some fruits to make it taste milder.
I like this daily life shot. Your note is great too.
Perhaps you could have focus also on the father.
