Photographer’s Note
Farm life in Korea always interested me. This man was on his way to apply the secret ingredient that make the rice paddies so green.
This is another picture I scanned from an old print in my Korean Album. I also cropped a little off the right side making the picture posted more square while removing a close up of one of the concrete fence posts that I thought detracted from the picture.
Korea was a place of beautiful brilliant colors in the spring and summer with strong odors to assault the nose. While the fall and winter times lost the brilliant colors the strong odors also froze over until the spring thaw.

interesting picture, I am sure the guy was surprised seeing you taking a picture of him... very daily scene of life in Korea almost 30 years ago.... I think life there is a bit different now...

The man's face is captured and so are the water buckets. He looks mildly surprised. Nicely done.
