Photographer’s Note
Peter gave me a ride from downtown to my hotel. There was a gentle drizzle and a light mist.

Reminds me a bit of the Isabel's posting yesterday. Original try. Gives a feeling of scene from a movie. The red lights the stop sign and the slightly lighted area at the right hand site, makes the photo. The car dashboard adds nice perspective and frame to the shot, without it I beleive it would have been the same (tried a WS, hope u wouldn't mind). Bala

Not being a driver has alot of benefits lol, I recognize this intersection.
Another proof that you just never know when the photo opportunity can arise, and good photo can be taken pretty much anywhere. In this case the weather conditions made it possible.

colour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it seems really strange that you just posted a colour photograph hehe...
anyway.... i'm guessing that you scanned a negative/slide... because of which there is a slight haze on the photograph.. ( i'm at a cybercafe in jharkand, so i may be way off it).. if you have photoshop, then try to use the function.."autolevels". that might help you get get rid of the haze if there is any at all..
i also want to mention that this particular photograph desperately needed a silhouette of a person (maybe with an unmbrella) walking across the road in front of the headlights..
it would kind of give more meaning to the photograph..anyway catch you later old man :)

An interesting shot, so commonplace, yet still interesting. The blazing red lights, the car coming head on towards you (it almost looks like you and Peter are joyriding down a one way street!), and the haze make for a nice combination.

I like this picture, quite surreal effect in a way.. Human element can be an addition for sure but i am not keen on that removing the haze business.. haze here makes the picture quite unreal in its own right, and i quite like that...
Nice to see colours from you from time to time Animesh, very refreshing..
