Photographer’s Note
L'Alchimiste -Paulo Coelho

The footprint forms a line leading the sight to the man. What a lovely picture! The color of the desert and the sky matches well!
Masterpiece!

Bonjour Balla,
Bravo

hello bala,
i thought the the title was going on with, never trust any-one pointing in the right direction when this is your view ;), but the Coelho quote suits it more maybe :D (quess he's on his way to the pyramides)
nice photgraph, the leading trail is excellent and even with a standing format this looks wide and lonely...
well done

Beautifully composed, Balla, you really created the feeling of the man moving across the image. The two small figures (people?) in the distance are a nice touch, too.
Looking at the sky and the man, I think the tone is a bit red overall; maybe it needs more green or possibly yellow.

I thought the desert was more yellowish brown than red... Anyway, a very good composition with great colours and textures. The guy walking in the sand really makes me thirsty. Good shot!

I like the idea of footsteps and a tired looking man. The color of the sky is however too red for me (too much red saturation) and it gives an entire picture a very unnatural almost abstract feel.

Salut Bala,
Bonne soiree,
Jean-Yves

Hi Bala
I would blur the sky, to remove the noise. Excellent color, composition, & lighting. I like the perspective added by the footprints. Well done!

I love these desert photoes which give an impression of emptiness and the figure also conveys lonliness of the environment.

Hello Bala,
You have a spectacular eye. The composition and colours are magnificent. A polarizer may help to bring the sky right out.
Take care,

Hello Bala,

I like how photogenic these desert shots are. The isolation is evident as is the vastness and danger of the desert. The colors came out so great and I like the proportions of the man and desert: small enough to suggest his insignificance, large enough to be a central focus of the shot.

hi Balla,
very very beautiful..as Jorrit wrote; it looks very lonely even in this format..your non-authentic model makes it more interesting for me as well..white man to get lost soon..
(as if "desert" has an analogy to "woman" in this quote :)..

Salut Bala.

Bravo !
Amicalement,

Yo Bala!
Quiet symbolic as a metephor this photo and I like your quote of Paulo Coelho. Walk a mile in a man's shoes... or in this case, bare foot on hot sand!
Great compo and colours, timeless footprints.
