Photographer’s Note
As promised yesterday. Hereby a close-up of the yellow flowers at Death Valley. Can someone help us identify them.
As for the pic: I think the assymmetric, deep DOF compo is a little more interesting than yesterdas wide-angle. But, for me, the main attraction is still the vivid colours. That crips blue dessert sky in contrast with the sharp yellow. At any rate, the Swedes should dig it...

Such beautiful little yellow flowers, and they must be very strong willed t survive in this area. As you say the colors are very special and they form a happy composition.
Very good point of view an youare right the assymmetric compo is very interesting and fun.

excellent DOF! So, there still is some life in Death Valley! Great contrasting colors and sharpness!
