Photographer’s Note

As promised yesterday. Hereby a close-up of the yellow flowers at Death Valley. Can someone help us identify them.

As for the pic: I think the assymmetric, deep DOF compo is a little more interesting than yesterdas wide-angle. But, for me, the main attraction is still the vivid colours. That crips blue dessert sky in contrast with the sharp yellow. At any rate, the Swedes should dig it...
