The Fields of Skåne Photo

Photographer’s Note

These beautiful fields lie not very far away from where I live. It's strange to leave the city and realize you have areas like this so near, at the same time I believe this view is very typical for Skåne (Scania).

Equipment-wise this daytrip was special in several ways: I got to use my new tripod and 28mm seriously (although not in this photo) for the first time and it was also the last time I used my EOS 300, which now has been replaced by an EOS 1N.

Very nice shot. The focus is perfectly sharp, and the green and yellows come through quite nicely. Well done.

Very stunning use of composition. The yellow flowers almost mirror the sky, and this makes such a wonderful contrast. Lovely, gentle scene. Nice work, Simon!

I like the repetition of all the tiny, yellow flowers. Good lighting, sharpness, & color. The graphism of the background is very good, but brightness could be increased marginally. Well done!

The EOS 1N I have this camera not seen! I'm curious for the future. But I find these also absoluut not bad, excellent depth and the yellow flowers on the foreground very lovely.

a nice image Simon..very good composition here. I am glad you got a good deal on the EOS 1, it's a real nice camera..
Back for a few days.. even though I made a bad mountain bike fall.. i broke a rib and some bruises on my nose..

A nice sweeping view across the field, Simon. Nice horizontal layering with a delightful foreground offered by the blossoming yellow flowers. Beautiful and lush seasonal colors, I like this landscape. -- Congrats on the EOS 1N - I guess one of these days I should put a roll of film into my old Nikon F-301 and shoot away ...

Yes - I can reconize this kind of landscape from here as well - The southern of Sweden (Skåne) and Denmark very similar in many ways - Thanks Simon for sharing this fine view - Congratulation with your new camera as well - looking forward to watch the first shot.

Such a wonderful wide-view shot! The good visibility does help to create the effect of a vast landscape. The sharpness is also excellent, as well as the composition.
