Photographer’s Note
The Prague metro (subway) carries around 400 million passengers a year. It is fast, efficient, clean, and easy to use. Its three lines consist of about 50 km of tracks (running mostly underground) and some 50 stations.
Metro and public transportions (trams, busses etc) at the ex communist countries are very well organized and runs well.
At the 4 days we stayed at Prague, we used metro for moving from our hotel to the center of town. The ticket was very low (8 crowns for 4 stations = 0.27€ or 12 crowns for 1,5 hour = 0.36€!) and the trains was quick and accurate!
This photo is from the station of Muzeum (Museum) where we change train going to Malonstanka station (Charles IV Bridge).

Hi Mpampis. I like this one, it has a strong perspective effect and a slightly futuristic feel to itself. The subway platform looks surprisingly empty, but you sure got a fine graphical result and I also like that the point towards which the lines converge is off-center. Good balance of the exposure, too.

Hi Mpampis,
I'm happy to see your another shot from Prague. It's a good one. Perfect DOF and colours, especially taking bad lighting conditions into account. Well done.

Wonderful shot! you have a good sense of perspective in your photo and colours are very impressive. Lucky you, nobody was in the subway when you took this picture.

Hi Mpampis, the repetition in this image works very, very well and you have used the perspective perfectly. Some would say that there needs to be a train, but you have seen that the architecture of this station is strong enough to work by itself. Well done. Stephen

Το μετρό της Πράγας πραγματικά είναι καταπληκτικό.Έξοχος χειρισμός του χαμηλού φωτός και ωραίο βάθος.
