So u are perfect in Color too.. i just have gone through your earlier post and found out how better u compose and frame a situation.. and this one does it well as earlier posts.. "two men in a cube.." would have been a title of this photo too.. as far as i am concern this has got a great POV when u use one of the corner of this restourant as a divider of your frame here.. one part is full of color and a human touch in it. Other one is also a world of light whle i shift from right to left i found a bit dizzy dark lanes.. so see the composition frm left to right.. a journey towards light and humanhood.

Not the first time I am being intriqued by the composition of poeple being inside the locale and the outside, I just love how you connect the both and divide the screen.
Do you think that the image would improve if there was someone standing infront of the window on the outside looking in with the face lit up by the yellow, red light? just wondering outloud here.
I think I recall you taking this shot, is it the restaruant we had a dinner at? I am getting hungry just thinking about that meal.
Well done.

interesting photo, very good handlig of light - preserved highlights, details in the shadow. interesting idea and composition as well, warm colors. i think it would be good if there was someone walking in front of that restaurant - wearing a long coat and a hat ;) nice photo

I think I agree with Peter on this one. It's a good photo and I like the contrasts and the glowing sign. Would be even better if one of the pedestrians had gotten close enough to catch a glow on one side. Would have also had the effect that they were being watched from inside. Coulda, woulda... but I like it anyway.

Stealing-intimacy shot, somehow, all best rendered by evaluating the light expertly and making it the element that delivers the shot, as photography does at its best. Thanks, Animesh, good and pleasurable, if sneaky :-) shot!

What about a monkey outside reading the menu inside (like the ones in Delhi!) LoL!
A very nice image Animesh, i love the warmth inside, (a kinda comfortable, indulging, safe feeling i mean) from darkness to light in a way..
(the way you did the compo and the different source of lights reminded me my own "the wall" shot somehow..so i was gonna say about a tilt? did you ever think of doing that in this one?(because you are very good at it!)
anyway, i like the whole "mood" in the scene. bw Animesh.

From the thumbnail I thought how much this looked like a Hopper painting--I see you and Simon have already discussed it! Great--love the contrast between the light outside and inside. I think I prefer it without another figure as this enhances the mood and of course the viewer is outside as well!

NAimesh, let me jumo right in here with Simon, about Edward Hopper, I agree 100%! When commenting on your excellent B/W bar shot the other day, I had Hopper on the tip of my tongue but...couldn't come out with it. Lovely photo, all that Simon says plus: I like that cropped hand on the left, like a benediction to the diners. your photos SING, man! Cheers, Francis

I really like the colour relationships here Animesh and you can't miss with these well presented parellel worlds - maybe the forward figure missing lower left - maybe not - I like it as it is for the strength of the colour statement - I can see the Hopper reference that Simon mentioned - very nice!

Hello Animesh,
Very unusual picture: Probably due to the huge difference of the two sides of this place. The gray street and the warm interior. Difficult to see, to decide, and also to shoot. Good catch Animesh - - Stay Well - Izzet
