Photographer’s Note
Refrigeration appears to be a too-expensive luxury in this butcher shop in Delhi. Even in winter the daytime temperatures are 20 - 25 Celsius (70-75 F), so one should probably avoid undercooked meat!
Please tell me what you think about Dan's workshop and my reply.

Hi Ken,
You have an excellent compo here. Love the brooding look on the guy's face. The little guy packing the meat also is a very good inclusion. Nice shot of a daily life in the Delhi markets. Refrigerated meat is catching up in India and can be found in suopermarkets. But the common people would neither be aware of that nor would they be able to afford the price there. So you have provided a good window to a common man's protein source in India...:)

Ken,
the customers do not seem to press themselves…
Good framing Beautiful scene of life which makes us share one moment of life of Dehli.

Very interesting scene here...makes me appreciate more my super clean supermarket... Just image these butcher block being tree trunks, with all the blood and pieces of meat in it...
The composition is good and I like that you included the three butchers even if there is a diagonal piece of wood in the way..
As for the WS, I agree with you, we have to be carefull with Neatimage. It must be dispointing to have a very good print or slide that looses quality in the scanning process..

Hi Ken
I would stay with the original version. Even though it seems less contrasty but the details of dirt and all are important to this image and were lost in Dan's workshop ....
neways this is just my view ... cheers

Hi Ken;
Interesting shot of the butcher you've got here.
I don't want to know how strong it must have smelled!
The composition is good, but I do find the photo a bit washed out and a bit of noise in the shot as well. I've done a workshop on this photo which I think you may find usefull.
I'd be interested in knowing what you think...
Cheers!

I never eat meat in India, certainly in the South to avoid for all the flies.
Here you got a very well framed shot with perspective to see all those man behind each other behind their meat.
This shot has a lot of potential indicated by Dan already so I gave it a try in a WS too.
Greetings
