Photographer’s Note

With few kilometers in the north of Cusco the beautiful valley Urubamba extends. It is called Valle Sagrado of los Incas.
It is located at 2700 meters of altitude, but you can already smell the influence of the Amazonian air. The climate is hotter and wet there that in Cusco, which is at only one hour in the car. This protected area is perfect for agriculture and was the principal resource of INCA civilization in altitude. The fertile fields strongly contrast with the mountains of the Andes.
