Photographer’s Note

Sukhothaï is a little the magic center of Thailand, the magic of discovered old capital of Siam. It was the first capital of Thailand (1238-1365), it remains impressive vestiges about it. The royal palate, of 160 000 square meters, surrounded of ditches, shelters Wat Mahathat, the largest temple and most important of Sukhothaï. Massive stone representations of the Buddha and more than two hundred chedis are offered to our glance. It is to better take its time because each step makes us discover a detail which was hidden the moment of front, an angle which one had not seen yet...
