Photographer’s Note

My wife and I, and my brother and his family (after some very specific directions from a native Vineyarder), managed to find the well-hidden route to Makonikey Head on Martha's Vineyard. We were trying to get some good sunset pictures. On our way down the beach, my niece and nephew saw the waves splashing against this rock. Voila, instant picture!

The image was cropped to remove an excessively bright sunlight flare. Then the levels were adjusted, and it was sharpened and resized before uploading.

The splash looks great.

Silhouettes always makes brilliant picture.

Very nice composition, this picture has sensitivity such as about the strength of nature. But The instant is greater than everything on it.

I like very much the persons in silhouette, both reactions and crash of the wave which I hear almost... Beautiful colours, well chosen moment. Good shot!
