Photographer’s Note

The Faidherbe bridge (507 m) which spans the Senegal river to connect the Saint-Louis island to the continent. A bridge built in 1897 in time when Senegal was a French colony controlled by Louis Faidherbe. Testimony of this time this bridge the steel-trussed... taken here under a very misty sky.
The absence of colors of the whole of the sight could have encouraged to me to present this photo in Black&White as a stereotype of time... but the lack of colors was quickly filled by the welcome arrival of these two schoolgirls carrying of a wearing pink-fushia dresses !
