Photographer’s Note
I saw the Thorp Perrow Arboretum in one of this month's photography magazines as a recommended place to visit, so off we went! It certainly is a photogenic place, and I'm sure I'll be back from time to time. When we got there, the sun came out for ages which is not good when trying to get good photos of bluebells. Luckily for me, it started raining again, which really made the blues 'pop'. That's my wife Kate taking photos with the umbrella. ISO 400.

Hi Bob
What a great timing; your wife with the colourful umbrella in that field of purple is a very good contrast.Nice soft tones in the pic to. Well done, regards Albrecht

Great shot. The trees look kind of ethereal. The colours area excellent and the umberella adds to that too.

A nice shot! The umbrella colors really tie the scene together well.

Hi Bob, just discovered your portfolio. I remember taking shots of these blue bells last year and was looking forward to take more photos this year, however my path has taken me somewhere else in the meantime. I really like the fact that you've included your wife with colorful umbrella. It creates very nice composition. Well done. Lucie
