Photographer’s Note

Early morning in the Sinai Desert, Egypt.
The sun rises above the mountains of Saudi Arabia, on the other side of the Eilat Gulf. The northern part of the gulf is divided by Istral and Jordan, which have a very narrow piece of coast. The Eastern part is Saudi Arabia and the Western part is Egypt. In the southern part of the bay there is a narrow passage, the Tiran Passage whice leads out of the gulf to the open Red Sea.
