Photographer’s Note
Although kind of 'cutesy kitsch', these panda bears on sale, outside the research station, north of Chengdu, caught my eye. I liked the green bamboo additions to some of them.
There were about 4-6 real panda bear cubs, inside the centre, in January 2002, but I respected the 'no flash / photography' request signs.

Hi Chris,
I am glad you take this shot. The contrast makes it very rhythmic like a poetry with different stress and emphasis. The green gives the needed contrast and variety. Excellent shot and choice! Regards and best wishes.

Bonjour Chris,
Insolite ta photo d'aujourd'hui, pas dans ton style habituel.
Je ne pense pas qu'il y ait encore autant de pandas dans la nature ;-))
Thanks for sharing.
Bon week-end /Pierre

Hi Chris. Good use of repetition in this fun photo of the variously-sized panda figures. Simple, but quite delightful. Interesting to have just a few dashes of color in the predominantly b&w setting.

Hi Chris,
A very nice almost b/w picture. Using the repetitions of pandas in different sizes you created a very nice composition. Very good shot.

Very nicely spotted and captured - I like the mix of different size and shapes of those fine toy-pandas - and yes could be a fine contribution for the Kitsch catch - thanks Chris for sharing.

Hi Chris - a random find today, just couldn't resist, maybe nauseatingly cute but the repetition makes it a great photo.

Hi Chis
Very funny and original shot. I love Pandas. In chiang mai I went to zoo to see these animals live. A great experience.
Nice shot.
