Photographer’s Note
This shot was taken on Rue Bishop during my second day in Montreal. I had been walking for several hours, and was beginning to get hungry, so I was searching for someplace to eat when I passed by this whole series of awnings and thought it might make a good picture.
The image was a bit faded when I looked at it later, and I wanted to emphasize the awnings, so I selected them one at a time and deepened the colors a little with the Levels command, and applied a little sharpening to some of them. I also did the same thing to most of the signage and flags, etc.
Finally, I adjusted the levels for the whole image, then sharpened and resized it before uploading it.
