Photographer’s Note
Two photos today. This high speed and hopping and tagging game was extraordinary as played by the young woman about to catch the smaller one. She was so athletic and fast and had all the grace of a lithe animal as she moved - a really masterful control of her body and the game. A tiger in a skirt! This is my second image from Vanasthali school, a tribal school near the village of Kanjod in South Gujarat.
My third image (in the workshop) is of two girls playing Kabbadi - another tag game played between two teams who alternate between attack and defence - one person penetrates the other's territory and has to tag one of their players and then return safely without getting caught - all the time (in one breath) saying "KabbadiKabbadiKabbadi".
This game got quite physical at times with more than one attacker literally biting the dust. The boys and girls of Vanasthali School are incredibly strong and well disciplined -and such fun!
Again apols for the low res but hope you can still appreciate the images and what they show.

hi kev, today no many words necessary: terrific (plus bonus time - i like the expression); just one thing - a bit pitty the leg of the left dancer has been ... has not been included in the frame;
have a nice weekend, jerzy

Great capture of her movement,Kev!B/W was the best choice here.
I like the shot in the workshop more,it really makes the "grace of a lithe animal" visible.

Kev, Kev such an unjustice, the workshop photo deserves a separate posting of it's own don't you think ????;-)
I like them both equally, my nit pick with the workshop photo would be to see just a bit more of the girl behind, other than that it's so beautifull and full of raw energy.
The main picture here is IMO equally good, although I personally question the squarish format, perhaps consider cropping just a bit off the bottom, jut below the bigger girl's toe. I personally find, just by scrolling up and down the screen, that tighter crop at the bottom works because it changes the format, and if anyone has doubts about the foot being accidentally cut off, this will just about clear it up.
