ce coin est reellement fantastique et une aubaine pour le photographe. j'aime beaucoup ce plan et ces stratifications obliques accentuées par un jeu d'ombres suptiles. on distingue des personne sur la gauche.

Impressionnant! Heureusement que tu dis qu'il y a des hommes, parce que sans cela, on ne réalise pas l'échelle. Le plan est-il incliné ou est-ce la photo ?

The colours, textures and tonal values are beautifully captured. The sky provided nice breathing space and I love the sharpness and details of the rocks. Splendid shot!! Regards.

Hi Bertrand,
Fascinating structures, I'm always amazed by the time spans involved in formations like this. All the parallel lines are great for the composition, at first you could think that the picture is tilted, but the people and the vertical lines are straight. The people are nice for reference too, they set a scale for the photo.

Cela fait plaisir de voir ce genre de photo lorsque l'hiver est retourné aujourd'hui avec 25cm de neige à Lausanne. Cette immense falaise avec cet arche est superbe et les tous petits personnages donne l'echelle de cette image. Bien vu.

So this is where McDonald got the idea of his logo from, He copied the arch and doubled it up.

A very stron shot from a strong landscape. The peolple gives the pic great proportions

wow, tremendous formations! I would love to spend a day or 2 there. Great yellow tonality. however, I think since your title is arches, you should have really shown more than this one, in sort of a semipanoramic shot.
anyways, good shot nontheless.

Et bravo pour ces arches et ses mille nuances de jaune-orangés. La hauteur a l'air impresionnante,vu la taille des personnages su le dessus.
Une perspective qui me plait beaucoup.

Belle arche que tu nous proposes là.
On voit bien la qualité diapo (laquelle etait-ce?) moin aussi avant mmon 300d, j'avais un eos50 avec generalement de la sensia 100...
Vers Corte, nous avons aussi une splendide arche, j'essayerai de poster un de ces jours...

I have seen this famous arch so many times but never from this POV. Now I see it in the middle of the great rocky formation, and I see it smaller than I have thought before! The people on the left side, helps to see the real dimensions. Well, smaller but "incredible"!. Very good view, with a very good light. I like to see the textures of this mountain. Also good composition, with the correct part of sky. Well done. Brgds from Barcelona.

Superbe harmonie des couleurs. Incroyable immensité également que l'on peut constater en comparant les personnages représenté en haut à gauche de l'image.

Merci pour cette vue inhabituelle de l'Arche Délicat.
Vous avez bien su démontrer l'architecture du sol. Et dans votre cas, le soleil était de la partie! J'ai eu moins de chance.

Tres bonne foto Bertrand! J'y suis alle il y a 4 ans mais je ne jamias vu aussi originale composition. Tres bien que les silhuettes de gens a cote de Delicate Arch sont visible - ca donne un point de reference.

Hello David,
A most unusual photograph of Delicate Arch. I have seen photos taken from this angle, but not a vertically framed image which shows so much of the geology. This is a great photograph! The people add an excellent sense of scale and the layers of sandstone are wonderful to look at. Very impressive work!
