Photographer’s Note
This was taken at the stadium of Melbourne Cricket Ground. Scanned from a very old print.
Camera: Pentax SV, one of the early SLRs without any meter. I do not have the negative any more, so not sure about the film, but it might have been Kodak Tri-X.

Damn man, how old were you when you took this? Either that or you are older than you look in your intro shot.
Very nice high contrast shot. Well balanced light areas and that little head is perfect.

Hello Animesh,
Beatiful composition in this very graphic shot. I like the head coming out of the diagonal. I like the way you use the light.

Another great composition.. that spotlight just balances the whole picture,
very simplistic but very sophisticated image..

Hehe I also thought you were much younger... you are a man not a woman are you?;-)
And I would have to agree with nerve, your creativity is really top notch.
Love this shot, very graphic and cold, well balanced.

Clever composition indeed.
I was going to say this is a timeless peice (those hats are still in fashion here... at least, where I work sells them and men that age buy them :) ) but a good half of the MCG has been torn down and rebuilt in the last 24 years. Basically, you can't even bring your own liquor in at all now and they only sell light beer.
A bit more detail here and there would have been nicer to take the edge of the abstraction here (and shed some light on that sign too) but this representation works in its own way too.

Tremendous composition! The burned white against the hard black, leading to grey......gives such an amazing impact. Combined with those lines and shapes...superb work. As for the dry area though, I can't imagine a day at the cricket without a beer! No wonder this man doesn't look happy :)

Beautiful juxtaposition. Again, you have created (or had created) a remarkable human document.

You are up there with the best of them with this one...
Your gender seems undisclosed until this upload it seems...! I wonder why? Perhaps because there is a great deal of sensitivity in many of your pictures..
I was two years old when this picture was taken...thats a thought...
Just a head and nothing else...beautifully developed...
