Photographers Note
2AM in Poland - around four hours after the Pope's death a guy is lighting a candle in front of the John Paul II monument on the grounds of The Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul in Poznan. Thousands of people gathered here to mourn and pray shortly after the Vatican oficials announced the Pope's death.

Very touching shot. All the candle light in the darkness is very symbolic tribute in my opinion. It seems to evoke hope and promise in a troubled world to a man who represented peace.

It looks like Xmas lights, that of the Nativity, have hurried back from their boxes to pay a tribute to this Great Man, with little flourish, but still incandescent. Thank you.

dziekuje za wzruszenia ...
11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
