Photographer’s Note
I am all out of ideas today. I usually don't like to take pictures of architecture, especially when there isn't a human element. I simply wanted to post this because there are not many cityscapes of Quito here on TE.

Beautiful lighting. I love how the highest building (the church) and everything behind it has a very different lighting then the buildings in the front. The composition is great too. Just enough contrast in the lighting. Nice clarity and colors. Great photo. JP

Hi Mark: Regardeless of the lack of human element it is an excellent view. The light is right on, the details are sharp, and I like the shadowed background. Regards Daniel

An excellent cityscape, Mark. The shadows, colours and sharpness are unusually good for such an image. I like how you have not centred the cathedral. Well done.

This is a great photo because of the light hitting the sides of the buildings, along with the shaded buildings in the background. The only thing that I think could be changed is that the photo feels like it is leaning to the left. Maybe rotate CW .5 -1 degree in photoshop.
