View from the Office Photo

Photographer’s Note

Another shot from the same factory in Serres. This one a view from the office, of the prepartion of an olive grove. The warm colours come form the the tinted glass. Well, this sums up my impression of the area, a lot of industrial activity, with tradational agriculture going on between it all.

hi richard, this is an interesting and a sort-of-experimental poto :-)))
i like it - tells a lot about the place and technically - very nice exposure and contrast; nice image;

I like the converging & intersecting verticals & diagonals. Good sharpness, colour, saturation, & lighting. The tractor & distant car add depth, & there is a nice color opposition between the red earth & green field. Well done!

I like the 'peep hole' views of the countryside and the warm colours but what really makes this photograph for me is the wonderful intersections of diagonal, horizontal and vertical lines.

Hi Richard. An interesting graphical composition you made here that is built on a great variety of lines - beginning with the vertica window frame in the foreground, the metal railing, the field patterns, the road, etc. Good handling of the light and nice timing to have the tractor placed at the very spot it is.
