Photographer’s Note
analized, admired, observed, evaluated, criticized, excrutinized, photographed, adored...
taken inside the Louvre, no flash.
i thought it was funny to show the other side of monalisa,
so i took many photos of her visitors instead of going for the obvious... there are so many great reproductions of this painting, taken under perfect conditions, i don't understand why so many were taking photos of her with their cell phones!
i am adding this photo to the contrast of cultures scavenger hunt, because there was a time when in order to have a portrait of someone, you needed a painter and the model had to pose for hours while the painter was working, and we see examples of this in the background, (and of course the monalisa which is not shown here)
while nowadays it only takes a click, and less time and effort from the clicker and the clickee... (on the other hand, none of our photos will get so much attention and admiration as this portrait by Da Vinci)

You have displayed in your photo of an excellent way what all we have felt when watching the picture. You have guessed right at the moment, and you have expressed it perfectly.
Well done.

I like the approach you have taken here. The crowds in front of the Mona Lisa have to be seen to be believed - though every so often it goes very quiet with no-one there.
Your note also made me giggle a little bit. I think the word you were look for was 'analysed'. The word 'analised' gives the impression that everyone was looking up her bottom. Not to worry, I make just as many mistakes when trying to write in French :-)

.... The young man in the center seems to be looking into his Godness. Funny and interesting....
Elena, I hope I'm not boring you? Justinas.

An excellent idea. I've never been to Louvre, but after reading Da Vinci's Code, I am dieing to visit this place, god knows when... You have shown the story from different perspective.. it is great to see so many people observing the painting..sure it must be intimidating for mona lisa..

This is great, I love the expression of all these different people in different poses, but all transfixed by one thing. The contrast with the figures in the paintings in the background is good too. Good job.
