First I really liked the photo. Then, when thinking about uploading it to TrekEarth I realised there's not really anything on the picture - no whole tree, building, etc. But I hope the atmosphere is there :)
Well, the background is obviously overexposed...

There is the atmosphere. But more importantly, there is this while little thing that is peeking out of the distant ruin (it may just be a piece of whitewhashed cement) that appears intriguing and it adds a focus. On the whole a moody, atmospheric, ambigous picture that works because it is a subject itself.

Yes, there is atmosphere here in the shot. Bagan is so breathtakingly quiet, a new pagoda in sight at every turn and that you have captured here with your POV.
