Photographer’s Note

They were walking down the empty beach holding hands. Probably the children are all grown. Maybe there are grandchildren. Perhaps they are "snowbirds", vacationing here from a northern climate.

I was inspired to post this after reading Sohrab's latest thread about posting anything, and reading a couple of comments in that thread about growing older. Cheers to all of you.

It is a very nice shot and, while I tend not to like pictures that include people, I do like this - maybe because it is so natural!

The colours are great too!

Nice view over the sea Michelle, I would certainly change place right now :-) I like the view over the horizon and the nice and soft light on the left, well seen.

It's difficult to shoot in the sun like this. The slightly off-center subject bothers me just a bit. I find myself wondering how the shot would have looked if you kept the sun glare out of it and the couple at the left side of the frame with the long beach/shoreline stretching out in front of them. Maybe a better shot, maybe not.
