Photographer’s Note
Windmills of Mörbylånga.
With help from touristic infos we took back:
The windmill is Öland's most prominent symbol. From an earlier 2 000 windmills, the remaining approx. 400 have been classified as cultural monuments and are maintained by the many local associations active on the island. During recent years wind power has come to the fore again and a number of modern wind power generators have been erected on Öland.
Öland is Sweden's second largest island, 1 342 km² and has about 25 000 inhabitants. Since 1980 the population of Öland has increased by about 2 000. This relatively large population growth is largely due to the fact that the central parts of Öland have become attractive residential areas for large numbers of mainland commuters since the construction of the Öland bridge.

Bonjour Viviane

bien vu

A nice capture and a very nice composition, Viviane, of these 'windmills of my heart', right? They look so lovely in their simplicity and the way you've arranged them is very appealing. Also that you've included some of the nature, which is so typical for Öland, makes me long to go there again - on a warm and sunny day. This is Summer! Very well done!

Viviane,
It was some time since I saw a picture of those windmills from Öland, which I passed on a bike vacation when I was younger. I like them a lot, and there are quite a few of them.
You have made a very good composition using the third mill's wing and support to add some geometry into the picture. Well done and a good idea.
Thanks,
Magnus

Very clever composition, Viviane. You took first wing detail so close, that it is itself totally abstract form and can be regocnize only from other part of picture, what it is. Very simple, but beautiful shot. Exellent.

Hi Viviane, somehow this one escaped out of my sight, and now I had the tab open, I only saw 'tous les', the rest was invisible, and it reminded me of a movie I once saw about Marin Marais, a very famous Gamba player, called: 'tous les matin du monde'. It was a beautiful picture, and I saw it with a friend who was of the opinion that I had to play such an instrument as well.
Well, this has got nothing to do with your picture, just something that was evoked by a part of the title.
I like your composition, Viviane, the Pov is original this way, the colors are lovely and soft.
It's a fine summer picture!

Hi Viviane,
I very much like the perspective here, how you included a small part of a windill as a frame. It is very graphical and creates a rythm in the picture. The image had been pretty boring without this "arm". If I shall complain I will say that the picture needs a little sharpening...

Hi Viviane,
This is a cool shot. I like the repetition of the windmills and the part-whole relationship shown. The graphic detail of the blade is interesting and striking

I like the way in this composition you have taken the view through one of the windmill blades. Very imaginative work. I like it this way. Unique and different.

Viviane, the perspective in this one is awesome. Especially like the graphis effect it gives to the viewer. Probably I'd gone for a silo effect. Well done. Enrique
