Photographer’s Note
What better way to discover an island than to walk the high cliff paths, which I posted earlier, or the "Green Lanes" and secret country lanes, which you see here in the surroundings of St. Helier. These lanes would have a speed limit of 15 mph and priority would be given to walkers, cyclists and riders.
Unfortunately the sky is not really blue here, but I hope you like the picture.

Nice to see you Hanssie! Beautiful lane and also a interesting perspective, with the door-gate in the left side.
Good contrast, light and colors. It's also a lovely country place. Good job and thanks for sharing!

Lovely little lane! Nice colours and shadows. As you say, the sky is a pity, but that's no problem, I think: very well done!

Bonsoir Hans,
Bien vu.

Hi Hans,
as I can see you left the touristic roads ti have a real view of the country there, small street nice privates properties.
Driving is realy special in these places according ti the very narrow roads and streets, I had some tries in the past, this Highland is not so far from here where I live.
Love the composition, simple, giving an exact view from the walk.
Very well done

Groeten,
John.

HI Hans,
Nice upward perspective here and good transmission of the quietness of the place. It's fully right that small roads are the best way to discover it !
Have a nice day, Jean-Yves

Hi Hans, lovely tranquil picture. I like y'r PoV here and the way the road guides our eyes thru it. It look likes a scene from an inspector Wexford mysterie. Fine job.
