After the rain Photo

Photographer’s Note

This photo has been taken from the ferry from Wellington to Picton.
While cruising from the North Island to the South Island it started raining like hell. Really...But when the ferry arrived in the Marlborough Sounds area it suddenly stopped. In the background of the picture you can see some of the rain clouds.
Anyway...When it has stopped raining you could see these dark green on the surrounding hills.
That atmosphere produced a really calm mood. And I´m always in a calm mood when I look at this photo. It isn´t really spectacular. But I like it really much....

I cropped, autoleveled and sharpened the photo. Oh yeah...And I framed it of course ;-)

Nice picture. I like panorama's, but I never tried one myself. It's nice that the mountains in the middle are a bit lower, that gives an even nice panarama-composition. But I have the feeling the mountains, especially on the left are bit to dark or grey, but it's not so disturbing. I like the wide view anyway.
