Photographer’s Note
never close the door behind you... when it's closed it's too late to turn back..
never turn back and flee for what's coming... even if the door behind you is still open and it's easy to escape... what's the escape really worth if it's a flee into the past? Later has already started long ago and today will never return...
saving up for later and you'll die a rich after a poor devils live...
always close the door behind you...

"There you stood on the edge of your feather,
Expecting to fly.
While I laughed, I wondered whether
I could wave goodbye...
I tried so hard to stand,
As I stumbled and fell to the ground.
So hard to laugh as I fumbled
And reached for the love I found..."

I hate to fly so I not only will never close the door behind me but, if possible, I immediately turn back and escape! Sometimes, like this one, your picture are a mistery. It seems you want to leave a message to somebody. In this picture thera are a lot of lines, nobody around and a disquieting wing (?) of an airplane. I don't want to give a technical comment (not able to do it) but I feel this sensation: that door will close and I will be trapped with my flying nightmares.

Weer thuis? Nice photo with good tones though the space in between the doors is a bit on the bright side.

Ooh, the poet's back. Not only he's flying to Tuscani...(this is called harassment! Ale should call the police)...but he even has the guts to show us the private plane he's taking. So you're flying to her arms, huh?
Very well composed, cretaive as usual, and showing us the dimension of your sense of aesthetics. The tones are lovely although i would personally have increased the overall contrast.

Happy New Year Jorrit. Again, a thought provoking complimentary note. This looks like a very carefully planned shot, with all the compoents pricely placed for the graphic compo. Fine original work, as usual.
