Photographer’s Note
Yesterday, in the forum discussion on taking pictures of people, I mentioned that giving people Polaroid shots of themselves can be a great way of breaking the ice. Here is a little Cambodian girl taking her picture home after a little impromptu photo shoot that we had on the way out to Tonle Sap Lake. (Yes, I know she's probably thinking, "Bad enough I have my wrist in a splint, now that lady taking pictures of my cut off my hand too.")
As I workshop, I've uploaded a shot of my mom in action with the Polaroid with our taxi driver acting as the photographer's assistant.

It defies the rules of composition with the girl having more space behind her than in front of her, but it makes it look different from the usual composition and I don't find it annoying.
But the main interesting aspect of this pic is the circumstances of this shot, showing how you can more easily take pics of people when giving them a polaroid shot.
