Photographer’s Note
I'm not sure if this was what was had in mind for extreme temperature in December, but 2nd Dec in Singapore was hot enough for children to try and cool off by playing in the dancing fountain in Bugis square. The mist is actually atomised water. This boy had great fun trying to guess which nozzle would shoot up the next jet.

Hi Richard
I like the swirling design or pattern on the stormwater grate, the freezing of the water drops at the top, & the obvious enjoyment of the Singaporean child.

All is good in this one : the light, the decisive moment, the bright colors, the ambiance.
My hat's off, Richard !

Very bright in mood picture, Richard! :-) Love the moment of joy you captured this little boy in. The mist works wonderfully as a natural background to put more impact on the boy's expression and posture. Very successful composition that is executed very well! Thank you for sharing!

Nice!
a bit underexposured on the kid.
The disadvantage of a compact digital camera is without much customized setting

Kids running around in fountains seems to be a universal joy, and this is another nice example of it, Richard. The boy's enchantment is well captured, and the frozen motion of the water droplets as well as the cloud of haze add on to a genuinely delightful total. Well done.

A very nice environmental portrait you captured here. The face expression and the "movement" of the child is very characteristic revealing the joy of him! Very well done!
