Rain art and moody sky Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hi friends in TE.

When the rain kept on falling for a week and the sky was always gloomy, there is little opportunities for picture unless one is shooting indoors. With my wife on the wheels as we were heading home at almost dusk, I pulled out my camera as this newly activated traffic light at a small junction. It is a small place with very few settlement around it and a few of my primary school classmates are from this area. Turning right at this point, you'll see a newly built modern primary school and after all these years, they no longer need to travel far to go to school.

You have made an interesting abstract image from the rain splattered window. The streaks of different coloured light captured whilst moving look like so many fireworks. Well done.

For a moment, I thought you been to Anak Krakatou off west Java. A superb abstract shot of the rain trickling down the windscreen, with excelelnt color, sharpness & contrast. Tfs!

What a unique and clever shot, Jusni!
I like the abstract quality the rain on the windshield gives the light. It looks like you are going into a huge fire of some sort. Nice bright color and the dark sky around it adds to the effect. Great idea and well executed. Many thanks and warmest wishes,

Hello Jusni, I have a feeling I have seen this before but with no rain, interesting, creative, colourful, well done. One week of rain, a good reason to try something different, well worth the effort.

The colours in this abstract composition are really attractive. Its strange that we often dont pay much attention to the patterns and colours created by the rain drops on the windscreen, and it takes a photo to captivate us. Nice work with your powershot.
