Photographers Note
Corlulu Ali Pasa Medresesi is a well-known atmospheric water-pipe (nargile or hookah) place in Beyazit, Istanbul. students from nearby Istanbul University and neighbourhood tradesmen rest here along with tourists.
the leafy courtyard of the Medrese contains an outdoor garden and gift shops. indoors, small historical buildings stand side-by-side. these cafes serve various kinds of tea and soft drinks.
originally this place was a 'Medrese', a Muslim theological school, now it's a converted cafe place.
it really is a 'cool' place imho, you can see the old ottoman tombs in its backyard. a great atmosphere..
after the latest smoking ban in Turkey, nargile (water pipe) is now a new trend among young generations even if it is equally hazardous to health (they say so!?)..
this was the day we went out with Mr.Izzet Keribar (keribar) from TE.

Merhaba Evren Bey,
Selamlar,
Deniz
