Photographer’s Note
Those wacky architects are at it again. This is the new Melbourne Theatre Company building, near the Melbourne National Gallery. The white tubes give an optical illusion of cubes and other 3-dimensional shapes. They look like fluorescent lights, but they are just metal tubes painted white and illuminated by well placed lights.
This was a hand-held shot, relying on the anti-shake mechanism on the camera.
