Photographer’s Note

The Grace United Methodist Church is a historic church which Henry Flagler had constructed in St. Augustine, Florida. It is located at 8 Carrera Street. Built within a one year span (from 1886 to 1887), it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on November 29, 1979.

Hello Asa,
You had a splendid blue sky to frame this interesting church; I like also the presence of the palm tree on the left, which seems to echo the tall bell tower. Good diagonal complemented by good colours and sharpness.

I wouldn't have expected a building like this one in the states ;-) I like how this steeple is silhouetted in front of this sky, balanced by this palm tree - and I like the light you have had when taking this photo.

The diagonal line of the street is an asset to the composition. The palm trees are framing well the church. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the church. The picture is clear and sharp. The light is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

A fine piece of church architecture, and I'm surprised to see it is this old as I'd guess sometime around 1930ties!
The fine light renders great colours and the sky is outstanding...
