Overlooking the Valley Photo

Photographer’s Note

The valley between Asti and Alba in Piemonte is surrounded on both sides by hills on top of which a multitude of villages have been built, which guarantees them excellent views of the surroundings.

Here you see a blue hour view of the Guarene Papagolfade, a very nice and well lit specimen, the lit monolith in the far distance on the right is the Barbaresco medieval tower, it is situated on the other side of the valley.

What could I say for this dynamic contrast photo?
It is the time for the blue hour,the monument is gold,and the whole scenery very impressive and attractive..

I think the MarkII delivers well for this iso200 blue hour capture :) with your 15s. The orange light on the facade fares very nicely with the blue theme.

Good to see the starry effect at least in the right places to give you a more polished look :)

It's so pleasant looking at this beautiful landscape. The atmospheres at the blue hours are always magical, but in this case your composition gives more attraction.

une heure bleue comme tu sais nous les sortir, a voir la pendule 8h30 en avril c'est bien l'heure fatidique, belle gestion dans l'expo ce qui me surprend pas quand on connait le bonhomme....

Une très belle heure bleue. J'aime beaucoup la manière dont tu as capté les couleurs de l'éclairage de l'église. Le point de vue est parfait pour conserver les verticales. Le choix de l'ouverture donne une très belle étoile.

Je ne sais pas quels indices tu pourras trouver dans cette nuit bleue: un village sur la colline en face, une tour éclairée...
J'ai toujours dis que je détestais les éclairages orange. Bon, c'est promis, je ne le dirais plus jamais.
Ces apparitions dorées dans le bleu sont magnifiques8

Une heure bleue superbe et qui claque de ces belles couleurs. Qualité superlative, ça croustille de détails sauf que la façade côté horloge semble un peu cramée (projo en direct certainement ?)

Une vue magnifique du Piemont! Ta nouvelle machine fait vraiment des merveilles! Elle juste un léger bug du côté de l'heure... Même celle de l'église est plus correcte! J'apprécie en particulier les jolis rayons fait par les lumières du premier plan et l'objectif encaisse sans broncher le violent contre-jour, semble-t-il.

Une belle Papagolfade en jaune et bleue! Tu as choisi très bien le PdV, la compo est superbe. La gestion de la lumière est aussi très bonne, même s'il y a un peu d'OE au mûr, mais c'est un prix juste à payer pour avoir un peu de détaille aux ombres.
