Church of Gora Kalwaria Photo

Photographer’s Note

Post-Bernardine church in the city of Góra Kalwaria, near Warsaw (Warszawa). This Baroque church had been built according to Jakob Fontana’s project, founded by Marshal Franciszek Bieliński in second half of XVIII century, replacing previous, wooden one. Holy Virgin Immaculate Conception’s church (kościół Niepokolanego Poczęcia NMP) has a Rococo pulpit and Sailn Vallery’s marble sarcophagus. Marshal Bieliński’s remains rest in church’s cellar. Since 1952, the church belongs to MIC Congregation (Zgromadzenie Księży Marianów). Nowadays the church has been turned into Parish Church.

A fine composition of this splendid looking church. I like the point of view looking through the gateway flanked by the lamps towards the statue and then on to the church. Very good light and colours, excellent sharpness.

prospettive davvero eccellenti per mostrarci al meglio la bellezza di questa chiesa.
Il taglio verticale è una buona scelta per un POV corretto, dove l'inserimento della strada, consente di aumentare il DOF.

Podoba mi sie, ze przedstawiajac architekture nie kombinujesz, nie stajesz na glowie, szukasz prostych rozwiazan. Centralny kadr, ale lepszy w tym przypadku ciezko byloby znalezc.

dear Mikolay Kawa,
this church looks stubbornly designed symmetrical,
in my feeling, maybe the planner was rather nervous, or had something bothering...
but therefor a little different between left and right makes me feel a sigh of relief,
the light and the colors are perfect, a nice capturing.
