Photographer’s Note

The Rursee, near Aachen and Monschau, in fact 3 artificial lakes, in a superb natural environment.
Here the view from top of the hill between the lakes, to the Rursee.
As the region is now a national park, the trees will not be cut soon, so this point of view will disappear soon, the lake being hidden by the trees.

Hi Didier,

Is this the same spot as were we stood, as it looks like a little bit more to the left. Those trees are already in great colours, much better than a view weeks ago, also the whole weather is of course much and much better with good light and a great sky.
Next time bring a ladder with you, than you can create a better view over the treetops ;-)

ein sehr schönes Bild, vor allem die Wolken hier. Der POV ist sehr schön, auch wenn er bald zugewachsen sein wird ;-)

Bonjour, Didier. Les mélèzes ne sont pas encore vraiment sortis de l'hiver et ont encore cette belle teinte jaune qui contraste si bien avec le ciel. Les quelques branches à droite donnent une bonne profondeur à l'image.

Hello Didier,

Jolie vue sur cette contrée qui semble couverte de lacs ! Même si il sont artificiels, ils ajoutent une très belle touche. Je trouve par contre que l'avant plan est trop présent par rapport aux lacs. Il occupent, certes, le premier tiers mais la finesse de la bande de terre déséquilibre la composition. car elle se trouve au milieu de l'image. Il y a aussi un léger tilt.
