Photographer’s Note

Die barocke Colomanskirche liegt bei Schwangau in Bayern. Sie entstand in ihrer heutigen Form im 17. Jahrhundert auf einem Vorläuferbau, der zu Ehren des heiligen Koloman errichtet wurde. Der irische Pilger soll im Sommer 1012 bei seiner Pilgerreise ins Heilige Land an dieser Stelle gerastet haben. Die Kirche ist wegen ihrer Lage am Fuß der Schwangauer Berge und der Nähe zum weltbekannten Schloss Neuschwanstein eine der bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten Bayerns.

that´s a beautiful photo - the church is towering the trees and even the montains, and the panorama format creates lots of space around it.

Nice shot of this beautiful church. The panoramic view of the landscape and mountains is fine as well. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The trees provide nice framing for the church.

It seems that I opened a window from my computer and watching the outside world. Its such wonderful impression creating on me.
Everything is clean and clear.
Colors are wonderful.

But what I am missing is the balance in Image. if you see the right side of image there are heavy mountains, trees and when you see the left is plain. Because of I rather prefer to place the subject completely right or left.

This is just my personal opinion feel free to reject it :)

Da ich oft in Bayern unterwegs war, kann es sein, dass ich diese Kirch auch gesehen habe. Liegt diese direkt neben der Autobahn????

Hi Marque,

Wonderful, truly wonderful. I have seen many pictures from this church but never had it in front of my own lens. The snowpeaks look great as background, but also the colour contrast and saturation do the trick here. Those little houses on the right work also very good here, maybe a little cropping on the left part (were the snowpeak starts) so the composition would become even more stronger, but that is really the only thing i can find in here...lovely shot.
A photo with high potential, excellent work, i like this a lot.

the light is very nice on this church, but it divides the picture into two parts since you put it right into the center.

Que paisagem linda Marque e a inclusão da igreja foi de muito bom gosto. Gosto do formato panoramico da foto. Bélissimas cores, deu vontade de deitar nesse gramado e ficar esperando o dia passar sem se preocupar com nada.
